    Der Bauer did a pretty scathing review of the connector. He said there is evidence of unequal voltage distribution leading to burn out of the connector or the cable. He’s convinced that NVIDIA did not design enough overhead in the system to handle the power draw.

    If I had a nickel every time a new high end GPU had melty PCI plugs I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

      Yeah, but you never find a fuse when you need one while it’s easy to find a 2 000 dollar gpu for a measly 3 500 dollars.
