HTML = hit mill
It’s like a machine (mill) that gets you hits (web traffic)
HTTP = hitch tip
It’s the tip of the hitch that you attach to the hit mill

I used to be able to. Then I got a new computer… and I was still able to.
Then a few months later my typo rate increased, correcting them quickly got harder, and I derailed more often. (How do I fiz my jeyboarf?) Sometimes it feels like I’m derailed even when I’m not.
QWERTY only, I have never even seen a physical Dvorak keyboard, or any other layout.

That doesn’t really get the idea across. The files are stored on the internet, so how about SkyNet?

No real hacker would use MS Word!

Stratification between the corporate and the free world.
On one side, you have bots, bots, and more bots. Enshittification running rampant. AOL-style locked-down platforms, but worse, because they steal your data and your soul to fuel their profits.
On the other side of the fence is the side of freedom. The fediverse will have more users. Also, old-style personal websites/blogs could make a comeback.

Reddit gradually began to suck. Enshittification started to take its toll, but I was protected because I used Old Reddit with a lot of blockers, and I never used the app. Then the API crisis happened, and I thought “Why am I supporting a corporate big-tech platform?” So I left, because a bunch of other people were doing the same.
TLDR: everyone else did everyone who counts did.
imperialism
something China doesn’t do
hmmmm
Are you saying that China will collapse/decommunize?

What’s this fool doing blocking only ports 80 and 443?

Oh boy I can’t see this going wrong at all!

What does a tomato have to do with a router?

Please drink verification can

Must be bots generating the posts, the corporates love AI

Reminds me of these
Comments in Netscape when it became open source

It sounds like “Pop goes the weasel”
X equals negative b
Plus or minus square root
Of b squared minus 4ac
All over 2a

They are not random, but what is the rationale?
Suppose there exists a radio station, “WACD 902 AM, The Sturge”. The number represents the frequency of the radio wave in megahertz. Now why did they choose that specific frequency? Did they have a specific preference for that number? Or more likely, they just chose whatever was available.
I don’t think it can be constant time. Accessing a heap is O(log n), isn’t it?
