9’s are great. 2/9 = 22.2 years, 5/9 = 55.5 years. Works the whole way up if you pretend people live 90 years. Lol
(Don’t check the math, just believe in the game)

2 sets of teeth, the first only lasting 1/9 of your life and the second being 8/9. 2/9, 7/9 would be much better or just 2/9, 4/9, 6/9.
Oh, hair falling out and all your joints hurting for 5/9 of your life kinda blows as well.

There used to be a sub for those on reddit but I forget the name, is there an equivalent on Piefed/Lemmy?

Think they are just a troll:
(Couldn’t link the comment for whatever reason:) "Russia has the strongest military in the world that has technology that can eviscerate all NATO members within 20 minutes.
Some of their strategic argument doesn’t even need nuclear capabilities.
Not saying they’re invulnerable against attack, but they would be able to devastate all of NATO with their attacks."

I use a split tunnel for the VPN. You can route specific applications/services to go through the VPN, and leave the Plex access how it is currently if you want. I have my jellyfin server set up that one of my browsers and qbitorrent all go through the VPN tunnel that’s always connected, then RustDesk, my file server, jellyfin and what not runs locally. So I don’t have to lose access to Jellyfin when acquiring any content.
Note: you can actually kick off a download through the VPN, and tell it to download sequentially, then just refresh the movies list in your player(jellyfin for me) and start watching the movie while it downloads. Thought that was a nice surprise.

Video games do it as well. Painters, photographers. It’s mostly just companies that take credit for all their workers work and just write “Vizio” on the front of the product.
I also assume if someone was in the industry and was looking for someone to do make-up in their next film, they can say man the make-up was great in movieA, check who did their makeup and see if they are available

I always liked making bread when I was younger, but I hadn’t made any in about 10 years and tried a bread maker recently that someone gave us.
Why do I feel like it’s so much harder to make in a bread maker. Just throwing it on a pan seems so much easier for me.

I am above average at identifying things that I enjoy doing.

Since Batman doesn’t wear glasses and has a mask, I feel like it’s just as likely he’d have a like a smart glasses type thing built into his mask. So he really wouldn’t have to look anywhere but the notification would just be a translucent overlay.
Or maybe full coverage heat retardant smart contacts, so they protect his eyes from any debris/explosions. Kind of like what Tom Cruise wore to perform the outside the plane stunt in the last mission impossible movie. Covers the whole outside of the eyeball so the wind does dry out your eye or make it so you can’t see.
Didn’t see the movie, but heard about the stunt

Found it, this was the comment you were pointing me to right? I’ll save it and I’m going to dig through all these sites/suggestions on Friday night/ Saturday to narrow it all down. Those do look cool! Thanks

I’ll be sure to check it out, thanks for the ping

Catan Jr, didn’t know that existed I’ll have to look into what games are around. I know her Dad taught our parents how to play Settlers of Catan a number of years ago before she was born, so that’s something that she may have parents/grandparents to play with. She has a brother that is 2 years younger, so maybe they’ll be able to play that together soon enough.

Unfortunately I’ve only seen her a couple times because the distance and my time/money. I know she likes animals, they go to beach and waterparks. She likes Halloween, even when she was 3 she was trying to make friends with the giant blow up scary things. She’s got a 2 wheeled scooter she likes. Baking, crafts. Swings, pools… they are always going on trips it seems. (Thankfully my brother has a family shared album so I’ve seen 1000s of pictures of her growing up and always doing things). They are I suppose upper middle class, and I’m not lol. So it’s one of those trying to find something that they wouldn’t have off hand bought her when they saw it, and I know my brother likes Legos, so I assume she has any cheaper set she would have liked.

My brother has done quite well for himself, and married a lawyer and what not on top of it, so I know he’s already got a game room with that really nice millennium falcon and such next to his game consoles. I just kind of figured any Legos she would have wanted that were on the cheaper side they would have bought her. So I figured more obscure gifts or something different would end up being something she already has.

Ill have to look into what that is, thanks for the suggestion!

Might be able to build one, could be worth looking into, thanks!

Now that sounds amazing, any kits or companies that sell something she may like
Copy party works pretty well, I’ve liked it. That said I don’t have mine open to everyone, it requires a password for view/read/edit rights or whatnot, which you can easily divy out using a config file. (Not the most secure, but that’s because I haven’t put in any protections myself)
