Ferrari’s line of reasoning is that they raised this problem over two years ago, no one was interested in hearing it, so they went and designed their engine in a different way. And now all the other teams are like “oh, there is a problem!”
And the proposed fix (which if I remember correctly is the exact same solution Ferrari originally suggested) will leave the Ferrari engine worse off because they had to compromise on the turbo to solve this problem. Everyone else wants to have their cake turbo and eat use it.
An F1 team acting selfishly? Surely not. I simply refuse to believe it.
