We kind of just need a popular funny edgy leftist that appeals more to the youth much like how all the popular funny edgy creators of the 2010’s became the alt right pipe line and created what’s essentially the maga voting adults today. And their hero’s and figure heads like Stephen Crowder, or Jordan Peterson are still pushed as memes or cultural movements in those circles to this day. Luckily they are having their own infighting right now and maga is dying out, and Fuentes and the other kick streamer sports betting types are going to be the youths next pipeline for probably JD Vance. So theoretically this is the best time to swoop up a large chunk of audience who are getting their brains melted by Candice Owens, the war, isreal trump connections etc. We just lack memes that reach your average coworker.
And yes as cringe is it is memes and short form content is how the rest of the world absorbs information. And if a picture is worth 1000 words, a meme has additional info attached to it like formatting, theme, or message. A meme can represent an argument as an example, and your brain instinctively recognizes the pattern, and you get the argument even if theres no words. That way when they go to modify the meme format, the new idea become much more digestable.
We don’t have weird funding is the main issue. A lot of those memes are just manufactured and pushed out by content farms. I mean in sure some of them are original by some random dude, but its pushed to places like r/the_Donald back then and eventually just gets absorbed into their vocab or mind set. These days I think it’s still content farms in east Asia but they get direct incentive to clip content from people like Fuentes and that’s how they abuse the same mechanism in modern form.
Its weirder now because corperate money is buying up YouTube channels like crazy now, and we got Joe rogan and the guys that butt chug beers doing limited hangouts with literal epstine associates and giving them softball interviews.
