Both McLarens are at 4/4 ICEs used. With how difficult it is to overtake this season a grid penalty for Norris would basically give Piastri an easy win, so there’s an invisible 7 point (at least) deficit hanging in the air. Hopefully the engine is repairable and the championship can still be decided on track.
