I can only think of a single scene, and it’s the dancing mice at the end of Coraline. Was actually amazing seeing that scene in 3D back when it rereleased in theaters in 3D over the summer(?).

Well, the only other ones I really actually use besides Lemmy are Mastodon and my InsaneJournal account. Been totally slacking on that, though, so gonna give it to Mastodon.
I don’t include things like Wattpad or yt because I spend most of my time not actually communicating with others on either platform.
Maybe I’m lucky, but at the community college I attend I have never had to sit at a desk. Only tables. As a left handed person, I am pretty happy about that, even though I have not had to write much because computers/laptops.
Probably not the most unusual, except for how I never see any other adults with theirs if they have one probably because of how embarrassed they might be, but definitely my favorite stuffed animal. Gotta have some sort of comfort object. Especially in a hotel, if there are no bed bugs.
Nothing major. Back in highsch ool my best friend had convinced me to buy CS:GO on Steam so we could play together. I basically never played it unless he was playing since I was never a huge fan of those types of games when doing online PVP (unlike him). I haven’t played it in a really long time, with no plans on playing since it just doesn’t interest me.
I’m definitely one of those leoy but it took me until a couple years ago to start disliking him since I was a lot less active on social media and keeping up somewhat on news other than what I’m interested in. Definitely wanted one of his boring company flamethrowers when I heard about them but now I’d ironically wanna torch one of them.
Mid-20s. Somewhere between chin and shoulder length. Wish it would grow a little longer, but otherwise and happy with my long hair, even if my dad tells me I should go short.
Basing my answer of off Vane@lemmy.world 's answer where E=mc² is 5 Bytes, assuming there is a lottery drawing some time during maybe a Friday during the loop, just store the winning lottery numbers since clearly they shouldn’t take up that much space. Assuming that creates a timeline where that version of me isn’t in the loop and gets the money, I’d be happy for him/me.
I know it’s way too broad and probably very generic of an answer, but music. Cannot live without it since I am pretty much constantly listening to it if I’m not watching a video.
Pointless/Potentially Petty:
• You must always try to end going up/down stairs on your left foot. Left foot is king compared to the right foot, so it always lands flat when walking, whereas right foot lands on the heal and goes down.
• Games featuring anthro animals (think Sonic, Ratchet and Clank, or Brok the Investigator) are now games people will definitely be on the lookout for because anthro animal characters are amazing most of the time and I love anthro characters, as a furry.
• People will start self-censoring at the very least big tech company names like amaz•n or g••gle or fakebook or ex-twatter.
• “etc” or “etc.” dies to using etcetera. I just like it better that way as a personal preference.
Less Minor:
• Everyone gets to suffer trying to self-diagnose and fix their computer issues before going straight to IT. If I had to suffer nearly a week of staying after college courses in the library for a few hours trying to get Proton VPN (unsuccessfully) to work on my Linux running laptop before deciding to send an issue report, the rest of the world gets to try being their own IT for a little bit.
• Folders Folders Folders! Most every file of yours on your phone, desktop, laptop, etcetera, are organized into folders and subfolders. Don’t care if you wanna call them that or directories/subdirectories, but keep stuff at least somewhere organized. Especially music. Your music folder will be broken down by whoever the band is, what the singer is, what show it’s from, whatever, just so long as it’s fairly neatly organized, assuming you have music stored on your device.
• When it comes to cooking, it’s okay not to always measure everything out exactly if you are just cooking at home for friends or family. So long as you have enough for everyone, it’s okay not to be super precise, unlike with baking. Also, wooden spoons without round handles are completely banned for life. I hate them with a passion compared to rounded handled wooden spoons because I can’t rub the handle to mix if it ain’t round.
That’s me right now. Just recently sent an issue report to Proton over the fact I have not been able to connect to their servers on my Linux running laptop for almost a week at this point and have given up on trying to self-disgnose and fix it on my own using what little skills I have and whatever information I could find through web searches. The worst part is how it effortlessly works perfectly on my desktop running windows 10.
I only remember switching to Voyager because I was having problems with images and other such things loading when I was using Jerboa when I first jumped ship to Lemmy.
Screw all of humanity. Fake nuclear bomb/missile launches on radar in order to jumpstart the next age of humanity.
I won’t be alive to deal with the consequences if someone does accidentally end up firing nukes because of my ghost, so why not make humanity suffer for my amusement?
It’s an absolute battery hog, so I don’t use it as often as I want to, but I got an old 90s Sony Discman some time last year. It came with some amazing 90s over the head in ear wited Sony headphones that works real good as well.
Just looked at the Discman and it was manufactured in '92 in Japan, model D-111, and I think it’s real cool. I also checked the headphones and they’re MDR-W08 in-ear headphones. Absolutely love both of them together, despite the fact the CD player is the biggest battery hog I’ve ever seen.
Hell, I got a CD for a game that came out a few years back and my Discman can handle it perfectly okay. I would have expected something to change in audio file formats that would have made this harder to do, so that is really cool K can play it so easily.
Not the worst rating at around a 60% on Rotten Tomatoes and around a 6.5 on IMBD, but I absolutely without question love An American Tail: Fievel Goes West.
Definitely a fun “sequel” with a lighter tone than the original. Though I will definitely say the Native American mice scenes are definitely outdated and a product of their time if you ask me.
Haven’t seen Titan A.E. in a long time. Great film. Definitely need to rewatch it.
I run games like Balatro or Shotgun King or Dungeon Clawler anymore.
I used to run Stellar Initiative for a short while, but I removed it because I kept getting super pissy about losing a single mission in a run and it wasn’t good for my health. Don’t know why that game in particular made me get all hyper mad, but I am glad that I freed myself from that cursed game (despite the fact it’s a pretty good game all other things aside).
Absolutely no way my parents would have let me on a chat room with random people before maybe middle school or highschool because they’d be worried about their autistic son. So I never got to experience them since by the time I was old enough, chat rooms were dying to macrohard controlled skype.
Early yt was definitely a wild west from my hazy memories. Definitely a much more free and friendly time for the content you could make and language you could use.
Earliest I can recall would either be, from what I can remember, some odd ass yt videos from early yt. Videos that are probably long gone due to things like copyright and other bull. They were the joke videos where they edited shows like Ed Ed n Eddy or Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog. Only a single video from that time that I can remember is still up.
Only other alternatives I know are either Safari if you’re on an apple device or something like Links/Links2/Lynx if you don’t mind text based browsers. Neither are convenient for their own reasons, but it’s not like we have any other choices. At least not that I’m aware of.
