That was great, some of the YouTube comments got a good chuckle from me as well.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is a small thing you did that changed your life in a big way?
13·25 days agoFor me it did. After doing the sleep study I found out I have a moderate case, around 18 awakenings per hour. After using the machine it’s down to one an hour.
The day I got the machine I was pretty tired so I decided to take a nap. Not unusual for me and normally when I nap it lasts about an hour. I put the mask on and slept for four hours immediately and my partner at the time said that she couldn’t even wake me up. I couldn’t remember having such an amazing sleep before.
Mine would be the major key version

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is a small thing you did that changed your life in a big way?
63·25 days agoDid a sleep study. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea about a month ago because of it and got a machine. Now even if I have a short sleep, I feel more rested that I ever did sleeping a full 8 or even 9 hours.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•I'd like to ask everyone, which movie have you rewatched more than three times?
3·2 months agoDefinitely agree there. The first two were so good, I don’t exactly remember everything in the third one but I remember being really put off in general.

5·4 months agoI’d recommend Into the Night if you’re interested in a show exploring the reverse concept. No idea about the scientific possibility though.

A journalist who had a stroke and got locked in syndrome wrote a memoir about his life before and after. He had to dictate it by blinking his left eye. This is the film adaptation of the memoir.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do you'all structure your workouts?
13·5 months agoI keep mine dumb as bricks. Three days a week (usually), every day exactly the same full body workout. All exercises I do 3 sets and keep within 5 to 10 reps, when I do 10 reps successfully for all three sets, I increment the weight in the next session. My program is:
- Back squats
- Bench press
- Deadlift
- Seated dumbbell overhead press
- One handed dumbbell rows
- Dumbbell bicep curls
- Lateral raises
- Lat pulldowns
I also ruck for cardio.
Good luck with your training! Hope you have fun and see the results you’re looking for.
I remember my entire team going for a walk suddenly when someone realised there was an interesting Pokemon that had spawned nearby.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Tell me about the last sandwich you ate.
2·5 months agoBacon and egg sandwich from a local cafe. It’s a sometimes thing for me when my weight progress is good and I’ve burned a lot of calories that day. It’s simple but good, heaps of bacon, couple of eggs, some tomato relish and a bit of cheese.
I read some of the stoics and then did a shit tonne of therapy.
