There might be a paid way. At work we have our phone numbers tied into zoom which ties into calling other phone numbers. It is used as a backend switchboard. So you could have a zoom number as your signal number which routes to your landline. Maybe.

Ha. My young coworker said “wow you really know this software in depth, how long have you used it?” me: meh 26 years. He was like “dude that is longer than I have been alive”
Cogs are typically square tooth, gears have involute teeth.
Yes, files, and hamburger menu at top right, new folder
Gnome had right click --> new folder, but only if you can select the white space, or you can right click the small empty square in the upper right below the top but above the scroll bar.
So our IT guy sent a training memo for a task. Step 1, 2, 3, etc. The one step was go to folder /User, then go to folder yourusername. A young guy emailed back " there is no folder called yourusername".
I explained to IT, some of these people have never navigated a folder structure and don’t realize Yourfoldername is meant to be replaced with their own name.
Depends how far you want to keep going back…English talking about Russia and Ukraine like they don’t still occupy most of Wales
Deja DUP has auto validation also. But besides “backup” I think everyone suggests using ZFS that auto heals bit rot. And don’t trust unplugged SSDs, they can suffer bit rot quickly if stored in a hot location
You can use any open port and port forward at the router, or is CG NAT only 80
Just setup wireguard on your server, add masquerading and ip forwarding. That single wireguard in, will give you full access to your lan
Recycled plastic gets used more when the price of oil goes up as these commodities are closely tied. Some places like automotive manufacturers only take auto grade plastics and those recycled materials can be in short supply so their is often demand for it.
It’s a system for more than just plastics, like batteries are that symbol with 43? In the logo. It is a classification system for waste handling, some materials more recyclable than others. The idea is as technology increases we may have methods to deal with more of them. For now, what plastic isn’t recycled is often made into fuel pellets, and used as heating sources for industrial stuff. It’s better than mining coal, and oil, but still not an ideal reuse method.
2.5admins is a great show even if you aren’t an admin.
I think It needs to be said, and explained: that in that film the husband systematically erodes his wife’s grip on reality by purposely messing with her (adjusting lights, etc, which is the actual term for Gas lighting in psychology now when a person has been driven to question their grip on realiry. Not the new trend where everyone is thinking gaslighting is when you have a day off and boss says “oh don’t take the day off, stay with the team we are family.” That is just manipulation attempt, since you aren’t challenging their reality. Psychologists have mentioned that using gas lighting for every perceived contradiction erodes the term for people whom have actally gone through real gaslighting.
Still been going with multiple shows. I don’t think it was “dropped”, if I recall Chris bought back the rights to his own shows, so he could manage it himself. There was some controversy when the head managers let Joe Ressington go, bypassing Chris (as Joe’s Manager). Seemed things got set in motion to go independent after that.
Man that brings back audio memories
Yeah it definitely is a pain for adding multiple machines.
I can’t offer technical network advice on vps headscale; Personally I’m not confident in my network skills. I would be more inclined to go through the pain of manually setting up wireguard instead of having a tailscale or headscale service-- and skipping the middleman so to speak.
Edit: setting up a new system this month, Tumbleweed has moved to SE Linux Enforcing as default. It provided some ssh and samba challenges at first until I learned about setting SEL policies. So maybe hardening with SE Linux would also be smart. For example I could SSH remotely into my machine but due to policies being locked down I could not run user bash, or even see contents of the home folder.
Me neither. We were taught cogs were those janky gears for certain tasks, while a true gear had geometry for smooth engagment
