I’m like this too. I can go back to a city I’ve been to once, years ago, and I know the way around. I remember the layout and location of my childhood friends houses, even when I don’t remember their names.
I’m terrible at remembering exact quotes from books, TV, etc, but I have pins in my mental map for where the scenes took place, even in fictional worlds.

I try to use firejail on nixos when I can’t do something in the build sandbox.
It’s painful, and I’m always on the lookout for something better. I’d at least like a portal-ish system where I can easily add things to a sandbox while it’s running.

I’ve almost given up on just searching the whole internet for something. I either filter by eye for sites I trust in the results, or add a filter to the query. There are usually a handful of sites I trust on a given topic.
I was thinking the same thing just based on downloading some tarballs for some open source projects. General speed tests were fine.
