Unfortunately, the reality is that for most people with autism and support needs, unless you can find a unicorn position, you’re kinda just fucked and have to settle for something that you’re not a good fit for and will be detrimental to you’re mental well-being in order to simply survive our sick society. There is vocational rehab which is supposed to help but good fucking luck being approved for access to the service.
Masking is the absolute bane of my existence. I can’t bring myself to do it anymore. Burned myself out so much doing it for decades I lost myself. Had to mask at work then had to mask at home around the family. Basically never had even a moment where I could safely be myself without being chastised for doing so.

The inconveniences of watching things on a phone far outweigh the inconvenience of just getting up to watch on the PC or TV.
The thought that crying doesn’t do anything is misguided. It actually changes a lot internally. Like, sure, it doesn’t change your material circumstances but it absolutely has a proven effect on our mental well-being and ability to regulate emotions.
It helps us to process emotions of grief and tension. It’s catharsis. It has a physiological effect on our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. That exhaustion is the release of tension that, without it, the body isn’t recovering from.
So, on a rational level, yes, crying does actually make people feel better in the long term, even if it doesn’t immediately show signs of effectiveness.

No, the proletariat cannot just use systems of oppression and hope it withers against its fundamental design. That’s just naive, wishful thinking that doesn’t understand how the system works to reinforce itself.
Tools also depend on their design to function in a specific way. You can try to saw away at a tree with a hammer all day but you’ll never cut it down. So the answer isn’t to use their tools to do something they weren’t designed to do but to build/use different tools altogether.
If you remove the system that allows them to gain authority over necessities and dictate how others access resources that should be communally available then you fundamentally remove their ability to be able to oppress you and your community.
