If you can afford it, redo your plumbing.
You can also look into a whole house filter, ideally do both.
Alternately, do not drink, cook with, or water plants with that water and obtain your water elsewhere until you are able to fix it.
For now anyhow…
Heard about it on reddit during the whole API debacle, but I had been looking for alternatives. I’ve since moved on from Lemmy to Mbin, but still check out posts in various communities.

Sort of: Each instance has its own rules, admin(s), and may or may not federate with certain other instances. Some may also be more stable or responsive than others depending on hosting.
My broad advice is to avoid hexbear, lemmygrad, and lemmy.ml because they are full of tankies/trolls, other than that: Find the instance you like best and feel free to use more than one!
I’m on Mbin these days, but when I was on Lemmy regularly, I liked to favor instances that got their power from renewables
mbin (that is counting Lemmy btw)

Mariachi music would work
Ghost farts.
No, but I will ignore people who are trying to talk to me if I’m reading. It’s involuntary and tends to annoy people.
It’s kind of subjective. I say try them out and see what you like but also remember there’s multiple Lemmy web UIs. I like using Interstellar with Mbin
Skin is just too dry?
No, sorry, we’re going for Neuromancer style corpo control, possibly with the veneer of democratic republics. No Jedi for you, best we can do is… Well, have you read Snow Crash?
YMMV, wildly.
