It is using male loneliness as the punchline of the joke. If it is meant as “the male loneliness epidemic is the only reason I’m single” then I have no problem with that, but currently it reads as if the loneliness epidemic is an invention of incels

If this meme was focused on incel-dom then i would agree with you, but it literally states “there is a loneliness epidemic”, and trying to imply that people who are lonely are incels is outright wrong. Many men (and also women) are lonely, but not because they don’t “have the basics right”, nor do they blame women in any way. Societal loneliness is a real and growing problem that affects more than incels.

My dude, you are the one here basically claiming that the only reason men are lonely is them being bad hygiene women haters. It’s literally misogynistic.

Blaming a societal breakdown of connection and interaction on men is just as misogynistic as blaming it on women. Stop being a part of the problem.

Because it belittles male loneliness. Of course women are not the cause, but it is quite real and affects many men, including those who do not blame women at all.

If the meme ended with “why won’t women date me” or something, I think it would be fine.

I don’t think anyone is deluded into thinking biden/Kamala would be doing anything different, but the fact that trump would be doing it also seemed obvious. So between two people with the same stance on genocide, they at least tried to choose the one with a better stance on trans people in the US.

I’m sorry, is it discouraged to be self aware? It is very common to have preconceived ideas about things based on media/whatever, however I am trying to be self aware enough to realise that this view isn’t based on very much research, which is why I’m trying to re-evaluate it.

Surely it is far more arrogant to assume I have no ill-informed views, and that I have never been affected by misinformation.

One of the most frustrating things that I see so commonly, is that when there is criticism of the Chinese government, it is almost always redirected into whataboutism about the US.

I’m not from the US or China. My views are that both these governments are terrible, though I admittedly am not very informed about China. But these kinds of non-responses do not help.

Edit: I do realise that this meme itself sort of sets up the comparison, but I just wish we could analyse the actions of each government independently, without making excuses for one by pointing fingers at the other.
