A private company doing censorship is still censorship.

I already said in the post that they can have options that let people choose what they are exposed to on the site. You can choose maximum censorship with “kid friendly only” or switch to “no censorship” at any time. For instance on Youtube they ban videos and ban channels constantly rather than just allowing people to choose the amount of censorship they want to experience the site chooses for them and pisses a ton of people off.

i dont use kiwifarms but I have used 4chan a lot in the past and it is my favorite site that I ever used…so I have already experienced true freedom of speech and I love it. I just want it to be more mainstream and more people to demand it so there can be a Youtube version of it etc. with mainstream adoption

Corporations don’t want to allow too much free speech because they need to keep people all in a certain box of a type of person and make people used to a “behave good, and we will reward you” relationship with them.

4chan doesn’t worry about lawsuits but the problem is that 4chan is not mainstream even though it should be because too many people have been brainwashed into thinking censorship is good and places like 4chan are scary and taboo when really it should be an opposite sentiment
