It tends to be but that’s because people are very nervous (not least because they expect pain because they’ve been told to expect pain) and can’t relax. There is nothing about the first time that is different than any other time.

Oh shi- riiiight the thing with the mini-games, I’ve heard about that! Just didn’t connect the dots here, I guess.
That entire page goes WAY over my head so I’ll take your word for it, hah.
Can you patent a game mechanic? I could see the implementation of a mechanic being protected, the specific way the code is written in a game, which would mean you can always find a different way to achieve the same result. What are you thinking of when you say “game mechanic”?
I like not wasting money on electricity when there’s infinite light coming in from the outside for free.
Bit hard to convey over text, no?
Learn and practice some self control.
Yeah. Just… Do the thing, y’know? Just do it. Press the button to self control. Also, stop being poor.
Because your evolutionary heritage tells you to. You’re part of a social species, we’re hardwired to be altruistic because it’s helped us survive (some people’s wiring is faulty).
By the power of the towel that you put on it at 5 am.
Who chose me? How do they support me? Who are the bad guys? Are they really the “bad” guys? Have I lived in this world my whole life or is this an isekai? Am I alone or in a party? Would I need to learn martial arts? Is there magic? How does it work and can I learn it? Do I receive a magic steed? I need more information.
It comes up every once in a while in therapy.
In case you’re interested: The problem for me is that I can’t see the other person’s face so I have trouble judging their reactions. Are they mad at me, are they confused by what I said, are they joking around? When in doubt, I tend to default to the worst possibility so I’m constantly on the defense. That’s what’s exhausting about it. It’s a little easier with friends and family because I can of course interpret their voices more easily but I still don’t enjoy it. I know it’s not “normal” but it’s also not something that’s going to change anytime soon.
I can talk on the phone - if left with no other choice. And then I need to lie down because it’s exhausting as fuck.
Haven’t seen the movies in German so I can’t tell you what exactly he says. But distances in miles are generally kept in miles for German localisation (except for VERY rare cases), using the German word “Meile”. Especially when it’s not actually about a physical distance but vibes. We may not use miles to measure anything but we still have expressions like “meilenweit gehen” (to walk for miles, i.e. a very long distance) so it’s not like we don’t know what a mile is.
Nor is it in Germany. I’m very confused why garlic would be necessary to survive cold weather.
I’m not going to fundamentally change my opinion just because of what some rando on the interwebz says to get a discussion going.
Yeah, that seems to make sense I suppose. Although that makes me wonder if OP thinks they have enough impact to meaningfully influence opinions…
It’s not like they came out of nowhere. If they were framed as the Rebellion in a dystopian movie, everybody would be cheering for them. Probably asking why the other 98.6% of the population aren’t participating.
I don’t think this is a properly formed question because there’s a difference between “not hateful” and “innocent”. “Innocent” also needs further qualification - innocent of what?
Also, there are no “unbiased opinion” on anything, that’s just not possible.
You’re doing an excellent job of understanding gender.
