- (Meme|shitpost) content dœsn’t lend itself well to conversations (which’s what am here for) IMO . If I wanted those I’d just browse tumblr oar some thing
- Prefer getting my news elsewhere
- “(Cringe|Trashy)”-adjacent communities . Thankfully not many exist
- All (.*)(girl|babe)s NSFW communities , don’t like seeing photorealistic imgs of conventionally attractive women

On fairly older version of 3C all-in-one tꝏlbox (2.6.6b) bcus has only reliable way for me to keep screen on all the time (hate screen timeouts sorry) . That function appears to be missing from newer versions , all other “keep screen awake” type apps I tried don’t work very well for me , so just rolled back lmao

There’s 1️⃣ unique draw to the fediverse : depending on service , you can (view|interact with) all different kinds of posts without (necessarily) needing to create separate accounts for different services (experience will vary depending on what software your instance runs though) . Examples :

Fediverse only better in (technical|data privacy|potentiality) sense , may be more resistant to enshittification (tangent : wish there was better word for this , “enshittification” sounds kinda stupid IMHO) but don’t believe it’s completely immune
Also I’ve seen enough fedimeta to know “run by huge dickwads” not (exclusive to centralised services|isolated issue) . Every other big fediverse (instance|project) feels like it’s managed by temporarily embarrassed (Elon musk|matt mullenweg)s , so like , pick your poison !
