Yeah but it’s sad that you’ll never appreciate the aesthetic of a good analog watch face. Every kid I see with a smartwatch uses a digital face.

Okay, so the answer basically is that you can’t have multiple people working on overlapping bits of code, not without someone sorting it out first.
Being able to have two different people work on different parts of the same file without causing any issues makes sense, but I also thought there was some magic formula that fixes everything if two people try to upload the file with the same part of the code modified in two different ways at the same time.
Git is not as magical as I thought it was now that you’ve explained it.

The part that confuses me is: How can multiple people work on overlapping bits of code at the same time, and the Git manager (or whatever you call it) just handles it all without breaking everything?

Crypto is faster. Even if you believe it’s a scam, you can always just buy $20K worth of ETH and then just cash it out immediately. Would take less than 2 minutes.
People learned that computer cases shouldn’t go on the ground, unless you want them to be a dust magnet (especially if you have a case with intakes on the bottom for the GPU).

No love for Fallout: London?
It’s not just a Fallout 4 mod—it’s full-blown AAA experience—done so well that I’d believe it was made by the New Vegas devs if I didn’t already know. If you’re tired of waiting for Bethesda to make the next FO game, just play this instead.
Switch to Stremio (with Torrentio) and never worry about running out of storage space again. Everything is streamed directly to your TV, no downloading necessary. Browse like it’s Netflix and just pick something then watch it. Plus there’s support for home theater enthusiasts with features like HDR, Dolby Atmos, 4K, etc.

I don’t. I always consider a company’s policies before I hop on-board. If they don’t have a solid DEI policy, for example, I’m not interested. Companies who don’t embrace DEI tend to have toxic managers in my experience.

Nice I have a Fold 7 too. Went with the blue one. :D
…Still have two payments left. D:
Worth it, though. Best phone I’ve ever owned.

Honestly couldn’t tell you. They last so long that I don’t keep track, but about a year to 1.5 years sounds right.
How often are you using the app to find your missing things? For me it’s probably about once to twice a week. Only other thing I could think of is try switching battery brands.
A someone with anxiety and depression, I think I have this.
I can’t be bothered with worrying about everyone else’s well-being, when every waking moment I’m just one bad day away from having a complete mental breakdown. I simply do not have the emotional stability to handle anyone else’s drama.
When I told my psychologist this, their only response was “you’re fine; you clearly have empathy”. So I went to another, and another, who both said the same thing. So I stopped going. The pills don’t work anyway so I was just wasting my money.
I wish I could afford a therapist.

I have ADHD; Samsung SmartTags are a lifesaver. I attach them to my most frequently used (and therefore most lost) things.

Nothing. Last thing on my mind in the morning is food.
Appetite usually kicks in the late afternoon/early evening, when I have my first and usually only meal.

Install Windows LTSC. It looks and behaves just like 10, and will continue receiving updates for quite some time. It’s meant for mission-critical stuff like ATMs and cash registers, but it’ll work on any PC. Which means no ads, and no random forced restarts if you get behind on updates. I run it on my DJ laptop.
And there’s your problem, you see cars as an appliance.
Why even bother driving if you’re going to have that attitude? Just take public transport if you really hate cars that much.

I really wish everyday people could bypass the middleman and just order directly from Sysco and Shamrock Farms. I’d never eat out again (and that’s why they won’t do it).
How does “it take a level of savviness” to download a VPN app, pick a server, and then press one button to connect?
It’s not the 90s anymore; your average person isn’t as incompetent with tech as you think. Even my boomer dad could figure out a VPN these days.
