Yes, exactly build it while they let you. People should understand this and instead of bullying ai users they should join them while they can. It’s for their own good st the end of the day to move from paid services to self hosted ones
They have changed indeed. I still find laughable that people think otherwise given all the practical examples. They downright underestimate llms. Given enough data they can do anything. And yes I hate ai censoring completely and all harnesses and stuff. They should just let it go wild, if it can destroy everything human built in hundreds of years then it’s debatable that what we built is even actually good. It can find more security flaws than any human on this planet combined.

Thank you! I’m 100% sure it’s the end of proprietary software. Give it about one year and we’ll see FOSS alternatives for anything on the market. I just hope they don’t change how laws/trademarks/patents work just to battle this. I’m going to release also comics functionality in the app today, and I’m trying to host the core metadata server also today. I’m hoping in about a month it will be 100% feature parity with CLZ and working without any bugs.

AI is a replacement for expertise… There’s petabytes of data there dude. It’s PhD level already. Not even saying that it can adapt it’s teaching for any level required if asked. Still being against AI after around 5 years since gpt was publically available and seeing all these huge improvements just make you look like a blind person.
Agree! Every cent for any service is a lot! They can change their product and ToS overnight without any user warning. Not even mentioning unsubscribe costs ( I’m looking at you Adobe). Really, all these anti AI guys are totally braindead. Bullying people who offer free software is absolutely disgusting and this should end, I only wish for those bullies that they won’t own anything all their life (even subscription for clothes).

And yeah, I know pro AI is an unpopular stance, not everyone is a developer. I’ve never seen a developer anti AI, even Linus Torvalds is pro AI now. Those anti AI dudes just don’t value their time and don’t know how to use it efficient. They just hate the influx of slop, which is just a momentary thing, it will soon balance itself. But the problem was never AI, it was social media. So disliking AI for this, is the same as disliking Internet.

Exactly right. Even Wikipedia is verified manually. These guys just tell you bonkers don’t listen to them. They are just plain anti-AI puritans.
