God was a complete idiot in that story. How were Adam and Eve supposed to know what was good and evil (listening to god or the snake) without having knowledge of good and evil? If god was powerful and omniscient, he did it on purpose because he likes abusing his creations.

How would you define “politics”? Everything is political, but especially things like healthcare and the economy.

I don’t think Biden was great, but I also think he is often scapegoated for problems that somebody else created.

My concern is that you may have been tricked into voting against your own best interests (and mine).

How do you define “communism”? I am in favor of a universal basic income, which would help in a situation like you are currently facing. But I am wary of using labels, as they mean different things to different people, which is why I’m curious about your definitions.

It is wild how much sympathy I lost reading this comment after the original post. Still, I hope your situation improves, it sounds like torture.

As far as lashing out. I have no issues with the ultra wealthy or police. Neither of those groups have harmed me.

They are the reason things are getting worse for us. They are the reason nothing is affordable, nothing can be owned, healthcare is a scam, etc.

I hope I am clearing that very low bar, lol, but it is difficult. Backwards thinking was violently programmed into me. I have to keep reminding myself that my parents were wrong. I feel like a broken person, but it wasn’t my choice.

I try to use the pain as motivation. I know others have it even worse and I want to do whatever I can to help them. I wish I knew how.

I just feel like I’m running behind something, not even sure what exactly, money, stability, proving something to myself, maybe all of it at once.

The rich are tightening the vice. They do not want us to afford to live independently, they want us to be their slaves.

In theory, it makes sense; it’s a physical thing we can exchange to represent gratitude.

In practice, it has been completely weaponized against us and I hope we can stop using it.

We live in the information age, we can track needs and contributions in a way that is more difficult to exploit.

I am here because my parents thought the only ethical way they could have sex was to get married and have children. They had no interest in actually raising those children. I have been suicidal all my life, but at least I am finally far away from them.
