That’s why you install it on someone else’s pc :)
I wouldn’t say my hostnames are very creative, but they all have some kind of backstory.
Main desktop: POwOful
It’s a pretty powerful desktop, so why not call it that :)
Laptop: LenOwO
Can you guess the laptop brand?
Server 1: Shitbox
It’s my first server box I ever built, so it’s underpowered and pretty shitty.
Server 2: Stowage
My proper server with actual data parity, and it’s pretty powerful
Server 3: Jank
This one is another shitmix of hardware with random harddrives in raid 0. I am aware that they’ll die at some point, and all of that data stored on it will be lost, so i use it as temporary storage whenever I need to copy something from one machine to another.
Robot vacuum: suckywucky
Yea…
About 3 years ago, I was looking for emeralds at a closed emerald mine when I had the brilliant idea of hitting a random rock with my pickaxe. Turns out the rock was harder than the pickaxe, so a piece of the metal broke off and flew into my finger. I was 10s of hours away from any hospitals, and the metal curved around the bone of my finger, so I had to take my dad’s camping knife and cut the thing out. This was at a camping spot, so I had running water, but it wasn’t easy.
Aren’t pretty much all storefronts searchable, or is it a Europe thing?
I shop primarily local and find stores with ddg/Google/Google maps. I live in a country where Amazon doesn’t exist, and shipping takes at least 3-7 days, so I’ve always bought stuff from local stores. Of course not everything is sold in a physical store, for which you’ll probably have to use ebay.
I live in a country that doesn’t care about piracy and has super strong protections for people who pirate, but i’d imagine i would be in deep trouble if i lived in a different country.
I don’t download that much, but i do seed my entire jellyfin library with no speedcaps. Here’s this month’s upload stats for my network
I use soulseek too.
I have probably 2 or 3 stuck for movies, and thousands stuck for music. Radarr and lidarr adds them automatically, and after many months, they do actually finish downloading
What’s nice here is that the upvote to comment ratio is pretty low compared to reddit and other platforms, meaning one upvote here means a lot more than one upvote on reddit.
Also each post sparks cool and unique discussions so you get more out of reading and participating in the comment section.
And that’s why I love this place
Calculators. Why use the Google calculator, when there’s one pre-installed in every device you own.
