Per the OP, same as them, I alter my sleeping position whenever there’s an issue.

Damn, sorry you went through it, but I admit I’m jealous…

I already do the sleep upside-down thing, I’ve told people it helps but they never believe! I am gonna try the hiccups cure from this thread though, nothing else works.

Whoever put it there, now they know that you know.
“Pimpley” is fairly impressive.

Some weeks I enthusiastically work 60 hours and sometimes I really have nothing to give except like…10. It really just needs to be more flexible all around.
I’m sure the threshold varies, but I would back research that attempts to pinpoint or at least narrow down what amount of wealth starts to change your brain chemistry for the worse.

Absolutely, it totally wrecks us because we have no guaranteed time off. So yeah, we all get to play roulette at the end of the year to figure out who gets the PTO. I’m lucky enough in my current job to have that time, but it’s not guaranteed. So in the past I just agree to do the shifts because I don’t have kids. :/

Sometimes it helps me to inflict slight pain somewhere, like pinching myself or contracting my foot inside my shoe really tightly. Like, it divides my attention between that sensation and what I’m dealing with emotionally. But I mostly just let myself cry, so take those ideas with a grain of salt. Here’s hoping it goes ok for you!
“Unctuous”, especially when overused on those shows…
The model is to reduce quality in time with our collective inability to afford anything better. Doesn’t matter if the overpriced fries suck if everything else costs more and the shit fries are all you have time to pick up on your way home from second job.
