Also zeppo@lemmy.world. Not a lot of Zeppos out here.

Wow, the pi constant naming inconsistency is terrible.
Oh, I see. Just an idea. I was wondering if maybe they’d block or redirect you.
The prices vary based on how much usable meat there is in the cut vs. bones, and how much work went into cutting it. Wings are mainly bones for instance. It can also be how fast it sells, so the risk the packages will spoil before they’re sold and what quantities they order or produce it in.
You can go to grocery store sites and set your location to a specific store, and look up items.
Anyway I looked it up at my local Walmart (Arizona, US) and boneless breasts are $2.69 a lb, boneless skinless thighs, 3.49, and wings, $1.19 a lb. Ten lbs of chicken leg quarters, $6.50. So it doesn’t seem to have gone up a lot.
I use hyphens a fair bit but don’t even know how to make an emdash in comments. As an HTML element, sure.
Not revenge as much as financial motives. He wants less oversight on his business activities so he can make more money and be involved in fewer lawsuits and regulatory actions. There seems to be a broader motive to degrade the US and cause chaos and hardship, which I assume is other Republicans and influences like Putin. Some are probably favors to other interests - for instance, my guess about decreasing park rangers is probably to degrade parks and decrease attendance so they can justify drilling for oil or mining in national parks. The amount of money saved by slashing federal employment is trivial in terms of the budget, so it certainly isn’t that. One thing is that before the election they said they were going to specifically make sure that agencies were staffed with Trump loyalists at every level, so I’d bet when you hear there were cuts at the FDA and the staff said they seemed random, everyone who was fired voted for Democrats, had Democrat supporting social media activity, and so forth.
It’s a reference to a more obscure Marx Brother, as in the 30s-40s comedy group. Does not have any special significance to me personally.
Okay, I assume this means “yes”.
Also, these repeated comments saying things are “fake news” or mocking people like “do you really believe that?” is how propaganda trolls act. Trying to make it seem like someone just just foolish for believing journalism, and claiming that news sources simply fabricate entire stories. Are we supposed to think that Reuters or the BBC are unreliable but some random person on Lemmy is trustworthy? Trust me, we’ve heard enough of the “fake news” idiocy from our president and conservative dimwits online in the past 10 years. If they don’t like something because it makes them look bad or challenges their beliefs, it’s FAEK or a conspiracy against them.
