You have to be careful, most heads are covered by only a veneer of hard outer shell before you hit the gooey center. Find someone with experience. Head resizing is very much a “you just have to have a feel for it” kind of art, not an exact science.
Python is an interpreted language that doesn’t need a main function explicitly. You can define any package entry points you want at the package config level. (setup.py, etc)
example: What I meant was I prefer language that treat developers like adults. If I want ptrhon’s “ux” to hide some functions or objects I can do that with underscores, but nothing is private, a developer using my library can do whatever they want with it, access whatever internals they want (at their own risk of course)
Python doesn’t need the name main check to function at all. that’s just a convenience feature that lets developers also include arbitrary entry points into modules that are part of a library and expected to be used as such. If you’re writing a script, a file with a single line in it reading print("hello world") will work fine when run: python thescript.py

I once was tasked with a metaphorical trip to the basement to fix Cthulhu knows what in the Old Code. Thing was built on top of an ancient CLI tool that consumed and returned SOAP XML. It was terrible.
I spent a month untangling that mess and even pushed a fix to the tool. About a month later I get a phone call from someone asking me if “I was the guy who fixed the tool”. I said yes and was immediately offered a job to take over as lead dev on that team. Sensing a trap I politely declined. Dude sighed and basically said not to worry, it would have been miracle to find someone the day before he quits.

The #1 task requested of me at that lab was “can you install Napster on my computer”. The second was "I completely fucked this <visual present thing> can you fix it with the Photoshop?
My job was basically “Linux sys admin for the one Linux box that’s important for some reason that has to do with the printers”.
When I was a teen, I had a summer job at a laboratory. They had a BLAZING FAST T-1 connection. This was a big deal, that’s what hackers in movies dreamed about having access to.
So I took my gaming rig to workto play counterstrike one day. (it was always mostly deserted, and no one cared what the lab monkey did before noon when they all eventually showed up)
The latency was non existent. I felt like a god. I was banned from several servers that day becythey thought I was botting due to having an order of magnitude better ping than anyone I was playing against. I got paranoid and never took my machine to work again, but it was a fun day.
I might be able to trick an AI into a paradox situation if I’m lucky, but that’s all I got.
Awesome! yeah, there’s a variant where you can seal the jar, but for the most part exactly what you said is the norm. I’ve had mine for roughly 5 years now, but I added shrimp and trim it back about once a month or so . I don’t even feed the tank more than a few times a week.
You should look up “Walstad planted tank”. An all plants aquarium you don’t ever have to mess with (except to trim if you want to)
