It’s a constant fear of mine. That I’m not doing well enough. I actually lie awake at nights and that’s not something I normally do. But I know that I can’t do more than my best, I’ll make plenty mistakes, but so did my parents and I turned out fine. As long as you give all the love and support that you can. They’ll be fine. About the traffic, they (used to be or are they still?) the default instance on join-lemmy.org . Thats how a lot of people joined that instance and that’s how they have gained a lot of users and general communities. Maybe that has changed though, I really don’t care enough to actually check current metrics.

That’s just not true. They don’t give a shit about .world. They don’t even have to give a shit about .world. They’ve got plenty of traffic to manage without .world. It’s just stupid to do so over some squabbles
