So touching dead skin cells with my skin is supposed to be a biohazard?
First time I hear that.
I guess I also shouldn’t shake hands anymore.
How so? I’m not coughing or spitting on the desk.
Dead skin cells, sure, but that’s not a biohazard.
The gunk is just compacted dust from the desk surfaces.
Perhaps a bit gross, but it’s mostly stuff you’re breathing in daily, just now visible due to being compacted.
Super gross to me would imply something like bodily fluids or other biohazard.
Am I missing something?
Yeah, I agree.
On reddit it seems the remaining human commentators are those who have taken over the mannerisms of the bots and adjusted to talking to the bots.
And you always get stuck in these endless loops of hostile disagreement.
That’s just not how normal humans argue. Even on the internet.
Normal humans either agree to disagree or just give up. In both cases ending the conversation after all useful things have been said.
I agree. Very much like Reddit in the early days.
Also, the level of civility and intellect in the comments is relatively high.
In addition to that, having kids, crossing international borders and moving to different countries are also things where marriage gives benefits.
And in some jurisdictions, there can be very significant tax advantages.
Which is why there was always a big fight for marriage equality.
But if you don’t want all these legal benefits, then co-habiting is fine.
They would immediately nationalize Microsofts Europe operations and the crack would be an official patch signed and released by Microsoft Europe.
No sick ASCII art though.
Yes and no.
For non-cloud stuff, the EU would quickly legitimize cracks that circumvent anything they would try.
For Cloud stuff, they can more easily turn that off, but then they would need to forfeit all their EU business and assets.
Good find. I am convinced Tesla is the Enron of our day.
The scheme only works as long as most people keep holding their stock. Once they start selling, it will be a very quick road down.
People have the memory of a goldfish nowadays.
I was alive during the 2000 and 2008 market crashes, but also the 2020 non-crash.
It could be that Tesla really has cracked autonomous driving by summer, as Elon claims, and then they will recover a lot of market value.
But more realistically, as the saying goes, even a dead cat bounces.
Markets never go down in perfect lines. There are dead cat bounces along the way.
I think that they were winning before they invaded the Soviet-Union.
In an alternate timeline where they kept the alliance with the USSR, I think they would have won.
The USSR had resources while Germany had engineers and technology.
And without an eastern Front, they could have held off the allies on the western front.
But they got cocky, paranoid and greedy.
And I am glad they lost.
I personally think that moment was in 1993, when the Encarta CD was released.
It had a huge amount of information, but it didn’t feel overwhelming.
The internet also didn’t feel overwhelming.
In 2005, I think the internet already felt overwhelming.
But I guess if you weren’t the nerdy type crawling the web, then social media and smartphones were the game changer and I would put the date closer to 2010.
Yeah, I think their CEO might have QNAP stock or something.
It’s hilarious how dumb this is.
