Also, the level of civility and intellect in the comments is relatively high.

In addition to that, having kids, crossing international borders and moving to different countries are also things where marriage gives benefits.

And in some jurisdictions, there can be very significant tax advantages.

For non-cloud stuff, the EU would quickly legitimize cracks that circumvent anything they would try.

For Cloud stuff, they can more easily turn that off, but then they would need to forfeit all their EU business and assets.

The scheme only works as long as most people keep holding their stock. Once they start selling, it will be a very quick road down.

I was alive during the 2000 and 2008 market crashes, but also the 2020 non-crash.

It could be that Tesla really has cracked autonomous driving by summer, as Elon claims, and then they will recover a lot of market value.

I think that they were winning before they invaded the Soviet-Union.

In an alternate timeline where they kept the alliance with the USSR, I think they would have won.

The USSR had resources while Germany had engineers and technology.

And without an eastern Front, they could have held off the allies on the western front.

But they got cocky, paranoid and greedy.

And I am glad they lost.

I personally think that moment was in 1993, when the Encarta CD was released.
