Not even that, but damn near fully disassemble and clean it out. I have some random brand from Costco 10 years ago and clean it out annually, and it still works great.

Ah, they’re that kind of evil.
I want a closet lol
I was in 7th grade at the time, and for whatever reason we didn’t have the news on in the morning before school like usual. I get to school and everyone is freaking out, but I couldn’t get anyone to tell me what was going on, just “omg we’re all going to die.” Then I get to homeroom (8am PST) and our teacher had the news on and it was just “holy shit.”
But but, Elmo said empathy is what’s holding us back!! /s
I don’t know if it’s broken, just slanted to favor industry as intended. It’s amazing what happens when it becomes a job seekers’ market though, and why corporations hate it when the labor market is hot in workers’ favor since they don’t have to play these bullshit power games when there are companies lining up to accept candidates.
Did it ever occur to you that people can have a mix of views that don’t fully conform to one ideology or another? It’s a spectrum, not riding the fence. Like politics, not everything is a team sport.
I paid for the lifetime pass maybe, 10 years ago? I dunno, it’s been a very long time. It’s still my primary. I’ve been trialing Jellyfin, but there are still enough quirks that my wife (non-techie at all) won’t put up with, so yeah. That, and Plex makes it too easy to share outside my house, not sure where Jellyfin is at with it. I appreciate Jellyfin for what it is though, it has a lot of potential.
No worries. If it’s going about day to day errands with some music in your ears, the DAC dongle is probably your best bet in terms of keeping what you have to carry compact.
Any USB-C to 3.5 dongle that has a DAC module will be miles better than just the straight cable converter for a fraction of the price and not going into an extensive array of hardware, it just depends how far OP wants to go down the audible rabbit hole.
Knowing myself, I’d ask a gajillion questions and probably land myself in hot water because I don’t know when to stop, especially when talking about injustice and the like. As I sit here, I realize that all of my sources are from western media sources and are almost certainly slanted in many ways, and, as they say, curiosity and cats and all.
Years ago I went to Croatia to see about a girl, and naturally I was curious about geopolitics, especially considering they were roughly 20 years in to their independence. While she was open to talking about her experiences (even though she was a baby/young child in the early/mid 90s), you can tell it and anything related to the Soviet Union/Yugoslavia was a very sore and tough subject for many other people.
So I’d say know your information certainly has a western bias, and if you do ask questions, keep an open mind about what you receive, and know when to change the subject.
Nah I know, the comment just pissed me off. I actually have my own company and do fairly well, but it’s still a fucking struggle and the wage slave bit certainly still applies.
it’s not left and right, it’s up and down.
Fucking thank you, I wish more people understood this. I’ll admit, I definitely have some conservative views in regards to finance and government spending, but damn I wish more people would realize that we everyday folk are not each other’s enemies (except for Nazis and fascist, they can fuck right off).
Wow, I don’t even know where to begin here. Make more money, right? Work harder? Perhaps the system should provide more? That ain’t reality. Despite making pretty good money, everything is outrageously expensive. It’s comforting to live in should/could/would land, but one has to have their feet on the ground when providing for their family.
Not to be a dick, but I barely have enough money to cover myself and my wife. I don’t exactly have any extra money, and our budget is tighter than a tightrope wire, which I suppose is part of the point.
Depends where on my monitors I’m putting it.
Indeed. We have central heat, and technically we’re supposed to install one of those fireplace inserts for efficiency (California). But there’s nothing better than a roaring fire, even if it sucks more heat out of the house than it puts in.
That comes from down yonder, usually when you need to go potty.
Certainly easier than plaster and lathe. Patching that shit is terrible.
