Not sure. There are a lot of symbols used in the past that have come to mean one party or another. That’s likely to happen again with any “common man” symbolism.
For now, during times of fighting against the oppression, a guillotine works to symbolize the movement.
It’s a great symbol of the revolution, but it’s not a great “common man” symbol. The common man is the worker just trying to improve society/home for their friends, family, and selves. A guillotine isn’t a great symbol of that.

Still kinda means you can reset your current crap life and hope for a better future one, even if you don’t get to remember everything about the previous one(s). I mean, I’d personally argue it’s functionally different lives at that point, but there’s still a primitive part of me that feels like it counts as a continuation of me even though everything that makes me will be lost.

We change our vocal intonation when delivering it verbally to help make it obvious. Text lacks those subtleties, so it needs a more direct signifier.
I understand that bad ui is a fun meme and all, but how did this one even cross their mind as an idea for a bad UI? This is a new level of convoluted I would not have even considered.
Unfortunately a lot of people are going to assume you have it under control already and/or would prefer the solitude as you sort through it. That’s not the extent of the issue, obviously, but that’s a pretty significant compounding factor.
