Must’ve missed it, damn that’s pretty cool thanks!

Trying to access blocked content is still a major red flag, and there’s over 500 instances on lemmy atm. I wouldn’t risk it.
Mine is setup like that as well, but IIRC it’s only for thumbnails. When you open an image, it’s requested from the original server.
Browser pre-loading does DNS requests and sometimes even loads the full page in advance without even clicking a link, for faster load times. So it all depends on your app/browser/instance combo.
Be careful browsing federated social media on work internet. You don’t know where requests will be made, I’ve seen a post of someone getting in trouble because lemmynsfw was pre-loaded by their browser.
Use a VPN
Mine is using about 100GB atm, ran it on a 40GB to start but the data management was a bit much. Good luck though!
I’ve been using OVH without issues. How big is your drive space though? Lemmy uses quite a bit. Federation can take some time too.
We have those in Belgium too! I always thought it was just MSG and bouillon combined.
Ofcourse, and stocks might fall over the short term, but thoroughly vetted companies have a much higher probability of bouncing back. Diversification and thorough vetting at the time of buying is what experts recommend, not panic selling.
Thanks for explaining how profits work lmao
Saying you make your profit when you buy the stock means you have a clear plan on when you’ll be selling the stock. A dip in your stocks is an opportunity to buy, not to sell.
Profit is made when you buy a stock, not when you sell. You only buy stock from a company you have researched and genuinely believe has long term potential. Things like this shouldn’t be altering your perception of the stock.
I’m paraphrasing but that was a major point in “common stocks and uncommon profits” by Philip Fisher.
Something something jolly ranchers
I’ve asked some DJ’s what radio they listen too and NTS has been unanimously answered. Very good variety, playlist for any mood and discovery is great as well.
