I’m 8-10 years from retirement and I’m fine with this. I always knew younger, better coders will come along. Anyone holding on to their 90s or 00s coding skills… Well… Good luck with that.
That, and this kid is still the very rare exception. I don’t think he’s representative of most 18 year olds.
The fact you mention security features, without ever saying it’s ‘super secure’ tells me you know a lot about what you’re doing. I’m so sick of apps like this that start with “most secure app on the net” but you know they’re delusional. Thank you, going to check this out.

New features may be added by PRs however. New features may be proposed in issues tickets, send as Pull Requests, and the maintainers will review and presumably merge them. PRs for bugfixes are welcome and will be reviewed & merged.

Like others said, if you just want to let people download files from your server, use a directory listing.
For my self-hosting though, I use FileBrowser and it’s very simple but still works well.
Yep, understood. And I still don’t think this is a common skill for most 18 year olds. But I’d like to know if this is more common than I realize.
