Yeah well, so my queation is: why is evwryone ok with their addiction and vulnerable position being taken advantage of? Kindasorta 🦧

I feel like just a small portion of the price increase is explained by having to pay staff and maintenance + ingredients, rest is pure profit, because they know you’re buying anyway and they are counting on it

Lots of people underestimate how addictive convenience can be and how easy it is to befall victim to it. Once you become accuatomed to a higher standard of living (be it not having to brew your own cofee or having a nicer apartment) its almost IMPOSSIBLE to go back. Salesmem know this, marketologists know this, it empirically works and they use it to milk you

Nah, in minds of people I actually respect, buying at Starbucks ia not associated with being rich, its the other way around 😃 (a poor person either with poor self-control/willpower or intentionally trying to come off as rich)

Who the heck needs to go to theater to watch a movie? Its far better experiwnce at home

Not all, btw… Some have risen above needing to care about dealing with lotta stuff with the wings of being wealthy enough 😃 just saying

Not that simple, think about it this way: if it was easy not to pay then nobody would pay, but people do and sales show it

Believe me, if every of your life was spoken about before it arrives you would complain, because you’d want simplicity and convemience, which would become a form of rest

Well, how do I calculate if the time-money I save on preparing food > price money ai give up for said food?

just because you dont like my tone doesnt mean Im not in the right here, and youre gaslighting like a buncha others here

Nah, got a few things mixed up here, buddy: people who didn’t like what I had to say even though it wasn’t a personal attack on them but simple a call for discussion are, not me

Hate to break it to you, pal, but some people would make the opposite conclusion, that is being: you’re the problem.

Nah, buddy, I am not trying to be him, your psychoanalysis is wrong

Whats “free will” by you? In a sense that we can basically apply the logic of “he/she should have done x so y didn’t happen” same way we can apply the logic of “external circumstances made them do it” to basically ANYTHING. There’s always some alternative path (taking which can be attributed to “choice”) that a person could have undertaken to avoid an undesirable outcome. Crashed a car? = shouldn’t have driven (you CHOSE to sit behind a wheel). Killed someone? can be either “you chose to kill them” or “emotional turmoil, caused by their behaviour/you loosing your loved one blah blah blah made yoj do it”

Well, it would be in them. Inability to adequately respond to the opposite side’s take is a sign of… inadequacy and emotional immaturity. You feel an emotion “this is not right, why is this person thinking that” and you responce is to try to personally attack them or shut them down (instead of trying to understand their reasoning)

So not even murderers who kill for personal gain (by choice)?

Being right makes me right, not being snarky. Im not a fucking bot, for startera and Im not a fucking troll for seconders
