Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered. Any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary.
ETA: If memory wiping is on the table, I’m gonna have to roll a d3 between Titanfall 2, Nier: Automata, and 1000xRESIST
If my memory isn’t getting wiped, then give me an opportunity to play Advance Wars 2 again. I know I can just emulate it, but it isn’t the same without the no backlight, AA powered Gameboy Advance

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How far back in time could you go with your skills?
1·18 days agoThis is true, but I don’t like deleting comments because everyone can see that I left one and deleted it, and I get self-conscious about that
So instead of deleting the comment I just added on some bullshit about unskilled labor

91·18 days agoGonna blow Galileo’s mind with an equatorial telescope mount. Even more so when I attach a clock to it and make it automatically track the sky. I’m skilled enough to construct one, assuming I can communicate with other laborers to have the parts made
As far as general labor skills go though, I could make a living just about any time with agriculture. Unskilled labor is timeless

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Are we still living in the information age, or is the technology that makes this possible being used in such a way that it has the opposite effect?

Thank you for providing an example of the driving force behind this being the disinformation age

Everyone knows the best revolutions are ones where the powers that be are simply convinced to give up their power by facts and logic, like what happened with women’s suffrage, or civil rights, or gay rights. No guns or violence involved with those!
