I wish mine was that simple. I was asked to install our RMM (backdoor remote access tool) on a partners home personal computer. I said I didn’t feel comfortable doing this without her knowledge and without good reason. Wrote up a long email with explanation after I was told to do it anyway. The reply I got from the email was “you don’t get to make that decision, you’re going to get a bad review this year, do what you’re told.”

Luckily it took me about 2 weeks to find another job, and fully disclosed why I was leaving. Emailed everything to HR and left without warning, even told the partner their plan.

Left them scathing reviews on all platforms, HR even reached out about my reviews. Said “you didn’t care then, what’s changed”

A side quest of my life is to keep their reviews around 2.5 forever. I’ve got a dozen fake accounts to help already. Fuck them.

I got most of his games to run right out of steam because they support Linux. But I’m running into issues with third party games and Nvidia drivers right now

Left 4 Dead runs fine. Control plays fine. Can’t get lockdown protocol to run getting a weird direct 3D error

I JUST installed Bazzite last night on my kids computer. Working on getting all his favorite games setup and hopefully some new ones so I’ll be able to help troubleshoot with him later on.

Edit: so I’m ditching Bazzite until I can get a decent AMD gpu. Nvidia just sucks for this.

I learned to type gaming. Learned much better hand eye coordination. Learned about history. Learned about critical thinking and problem solving, context clues. All translate very well into life skills.

I’m not going to list all the red flags, but there is a reason people feel like this. A few major ones, president talking about taking over other countries out of the blue, attacking our allies to the point where Americans are suffering much more than necessary, his sidekick doing Nazi salutes on stage, literal commercials for his $idekick on the white house lawn.

It’s pretty clear there is no rule of law for blatant corruption and no accountability. Replace USA/Trump with Russia/Putin or NK/Un, guess what, same shit, different smell. Either follow orders or get shipped out is the example they’re trying to set, as well as making free speech illegal.

We’re FAR from a functioning democracy.

Darknet diaries. It’s about anything security, spy, hacking, some networking bots, etc. do NOT need to be a nerd to love it, recent episode was a guy who started tracking stolen bikes and found a crazy web of criminals though patterns.
