I think the reason you dont understand many comments in this thread is because you dont seem to know what a “communist” it. People are answering your question based on the official definition, but you are going by a gut feeling that probably springs form propaganda and biases in your community. I encourage you to read up on communism if you really want to know.

I would say it is a decent indicator for mental qualities that are considered desitable by the current performance-driven economy.
