Why would I?
They can, but there is a lot of hesitation, and the process is slow.
Ukraine got a lot of support from the US and Europe. And without the US this would not have been so easy.
If the EU can actually rally together and form a European army…
^edit: spelling^
If I can save them, then so can someone else, and I’m not really foreseeing their death, just a possibility. If my “gift” is as unreliable as that, I wouldn’t call it foresight… So I would ignore it and go about my day.
It doesn’t have to be meat. You can eat eggs, cheese, and maybe fish? Salmon is my go-to. Milk products such as cream and yoghurt. Nuts! Maybe seafood, such as mussels, clams, crab, prawns?
I consider it an autocratic regime with strong fascist characteristics.
One only needs to look at the history of fascist regimes to know how that plays out.
I’m using Floorp on desktop. Zen is nice as well. And Ironfox on Android.
Lord of the Rings made a prequel series.
No, they did not. Some braindead company made an abomination. Tolkien is still turning in his grave.
Don’t use Google, use Startpage.com instead, and add “lemmy” to your search terms.
Use old.reddit and uBlock Origin and you see none of that. Alternatively, use Stealth: https://gitlab.com/cosmosapps/stealth on Android.
I do feel morally bad about using Reddit, so I try to wean myself off it, and fill my browsing time with Feddit/Lemmy and Mastodon.
I found that Mastodon has a lot more international content. Tho that could also be a function of who you choose to follow there.
For me personally it is more important that my data doesn’t get mined by a big company, and that I use European services as much as possible, and preferably open source. Proton is a good fit for me, and may be for OP.
I like Proton. It’s secure, with end-to-end encryption. It is web-based, just like Google, so accessible anywhere. It has an eye-pleasing design. And it’s based in Europe.
While I enjoyed the first book, and might pick up the others, I wasn’t as impressed, and wouldn’t put it on any reread shortlist. What did I miss?
