    Are those vibrations really coming from the PU or from the nearly untested everything else on the car?

        That would be really hard, because not much change during the season.
        What can they even do about it?

        Isn’t the engine design pretty much locked in now?

        History repeating itself just to fuck Alonso over must hurt

          I believe that under the new regulations they are free to change basically whatever they want about the engine at any point. As long as they dont use too many individual engines as per allocation.

          But yeah, logistics wise this would be very hard to change in their design, manufacture and ship it in any kind of short-time future

            Like Mercedes e.g. can’t even be forced to change until mid season, if their engine isn’t up to the now new regs - regarding the compression tests

            But to be honest, I’ve no clue, so gonna trust you and thanks for the information about that

              They’ve already decided the compression tests will change from June, so Merc will have to make sure tĥeir engine fits the regulations at that point
