I’m sure there must be some out there, but in the English speaking world I’d say it’s the most unique name I’ve heard.

I could find no ‘conqueror’ connotation, only that the name refers to the French town Sigournais. Somehow it’s conflated with German Sigi, present in Sigismund, but that German root isn’t part of the toponymy of the town.
