    I run an equipment business. You’d be surprised how often a one hour video tutorial is requested on any given piece of equipment. So now when I’ve got a dead afternoon in the shop, I make these videos.

    But, you’re right: I do also make how-to documents with photos and text. And for the people that prefer that, they really prefer that. Some users just have their eyeballs roll into the back of their head when they see that much text.

    The only thing I’ve found it useful for is appliance repair to see where they struggle or now to avoid breaking tabs.
