I’ve dabbled in wood carving. Stuff like whittling, relief carving, and my favorite kind was chip carving.
I also enjoyed doing some wildlife photography.
Maybe the weirdest hobby I ever tried was when I made a home-made furnace for melting aluminum.
But the thing I spend most of my spare time on by far is video game development (everything from the coding to the 3D modelling and animation and a little bit of sound design).
I’ve got a SpaceMouse Pro that, although useable with Blender, I haven’t been able to get it working as well as it did on windows, but I think that’s the only device I had any trouble with so far.

Not something I have trouble with spelling, but a common typo I noticed I make is spelling “check” with a ‘h’ instead of the ‘k’ for some reason.
For what it’s worth, yeah. At first I might’ve thought it was kinda annoying. But I’ve seen you around here enough in various communities that I no longer see you as a random internet user, but instead as an active member of our little online community, and I would absolutely notice if you left.
I was pretty responsive like that when I still had a job. I was basically at my desk all day every day. I didn’t even feel like going out for lunch.
It really depends. Is the murderer truely sorry for what was done, or just that they got caught? Same for the scammer. Except scammers can fuck up more peoples’ lives before getting caught.

The day that my 18 year old cat had to be put down. That morning, I pulled up a video of birds for her to watch, same as most other mornings. And seeing her watching the birds as if nothing was wrong, knowing that it was the last day I would spend with her, that fucking broke me.
Prior to that, I think I hadn’t cried in over 20 years.

I thought it looked off-putting at first, so I hadn’t actually started watching it until it had a bunch of seasons ready to binge-watch, but it’s funny, relaxing, and mostly wholesome.
I think I got Virgo vs the Zodiac as part of a bundle, and it’s not the type of game I usually play. But it ended up being pretty fun, had great music, and was interesting enough to make me want to play through multiple times to see the other endings.
When I served on jury duty duty, we heard how the cops used some type of software to try to get the messages off two phones but there was a speacial way that they needed to turn on the phone to prevent it from booting the OS. Someone screwed that part up with one of the phones, and the messages got wiped when it turned on.
I don’t think I had fully realized how burnt out I really felt until it was too late.
I think some versions such as Antimine will generate the field once you pick a starting tile.
