I used to be in the office every day and say that my coworkers should be in too as it’s much better to develop hardware that way (I’m mechanical engineer).

I didn’t continue on to PhD because:

1. By advisor left the university for a promotion
2. I knew too many students that seemed to get trapped with an advisor that kept them around for too long, which seemed like a trap. But with the right advisor I would’ve.
3. I wanted to make money and stop being broke
