  • You are the one that cited Falun Gong, which is a weird fascist cult, not me. Also as people have already told you every part of the federal government has had to admit that it was all propaganda with zero evidence. I am done talking to you. You refuse to read anyone else’s sources and don’t even stop to think that the paper owned by Jeff fucking Bezos might not have a vested interest in demonizing China and particularly socialism as a whole. Take your fascist nonsense back to reddit lib.

  • You do realize that DSA candidates are fairly successful (to varying degrees of positive outcomes) regionally, and to a lesser extent PSL though they are further left.

It is this mindset from liberals such as yourself that actually stops good things from happening.

Also if the Democratic party keeps eating shit to/failing to accomplishing anything in the face of the open fascist party I don’t trust them to do anything good ever. You also discount all the marginalized people actively harmed by their right wing policies (and they are very much a right wing party).

  • what did voting third party actually do here other than make you feel good?

I’m in california lol my vote means fuck all, so why should I throw it away for Kamala? You liberals really don’t think too hard about things do you?

Also I dislike the assumption that because I don’t participate in the circus of electoral politics that I am not engaged with actual meaningful political projects year round. It shows an incredible lack of imagination or understanding of how real positive change is actually made and how political power is built. But yeah keep voting for people that hate you hoping that things will somehow get better.

  • This is a very naive take and calling someone as enthusiastic about genocide as Biden/Kamala “lesser evil” just shows you don’t give a fuck about people in the global south. I voted for the only true harm reduction candidate and that was PSL. Please, respectfully, take one second to think of the people on the other end of the barrel of the gun that is US foreign policy. Or even think about trans people and migrants in the US whom both parties continue to persecute and subjugate. Comments like yours just scream “I’m super privileged and just don’t like this one guy for being so vulgar while doing the same shit as every president before him”.

Don’t forget privatizing an IP that was only made possible through government funded research. Literally the only “innovation” jobs made was taking a bunch of existing tech and being like, “what if we made a media player that is also a phone with a touch screen”

And don’t get me started on how much I fucking hate touch screens. Whoever decided all cash registers should be touch screen only and took away my 10-key is going to beg for me to kill them once I am done with them.

  • I mean that stuff wouldn’t emerge for the next couple decades, but you can certainly see where the capitalist vampires saw it and went “damn that looks real efficient, bet if we made a privatized version we’d make more money than god”.

Of course as we know it was only so efficient because of its socialized nature which made such supply chains less prone to disruption as the computational power could be used to centrally monitor supply chains between all sorts of different nationalized industries, that could then be allocated in an agile manor so as to minimize any one industry or population running out of materials or basic needs. It was so efficient materials could even be reallocated mid route. It was a really sophisticated system and could serve as a blueprint for large scale socialized economies.
