      thanks. can you explain please? should i have made the female more obvious like fe-male or should i have just wrote ironman’s a female! or just explained myself better?

        The former, imho. Plus capitalize the first letter and don’t forget the apostrophe in Ironman’s (however ‘Ironman is’ is better).

        Basically you took an older joke and bungled the delivery with a sentence with as many errors as there are words.

        Use capitals and punctuation and don’t call women “females” unless you’re a ferengi.

          The joke cannot work without “female” though. (Fe being the chemical symbol for iron)

          I understand that misogynistic groups have been using the word out of context. But surly that doesn’t preclude its use in mainstream English!
