Back when, a coworker brought the team a dozen fresh donuts every Friday, and it was awesome!

We later found out that this shop he always went to (small family owned) was one of the few that still did a bakers dozen, and he took it as a chef tax/finder’s fee driving to work.

So, naturally, we started calling it a bastard’s dozen. 🤣
