I have finished watching Star Trek Next Generation and Deep Space 9 following a friend’s recommendation. I enjoyed both shows and started watching the other one, Star Trek Voyager.
So far, I’m not finding it as enjoyable as the other two. I want to try to see it through the eyes of someone who enjoys the show, maybe it will also help me understand why it feels different somehow.
compared to nutrek, voyager is way above them lol. even enterprise has a very old trek feel to it, post-jj abrams seems to capture the the type of fans you would watch transformers instead of actual SCIFI plots.
Is there anything JJ Abrams has touched that hasn’t been absolutely dogshit? Honestly, the worst director/producer I’ve seen in decades. His version of story telling is frustrating and leads nowhere. It’s the epitome of brainrot.
And yes, I still haven’t forgiven him for Lost.
But at least we got some lens flares /s
