I would say an issue as complex as this deserves more than a three-sentence shower thought.
The issue is very complex for the region, but a lot less complex for the US.
The US has fucked up for decades in the middle east and needs to get out, not fund anyone there, not do business with anyone there, and not come back.
And I’m not saying that to be isolationist. I’m saying that because we have completely fucked things up. And like a shitty ex, more of our involvement won’t fix it.
