I don’t see why they would use AI instead of picking an appropriate image or making something quick in Gimp or paint, it just makes me not want to be part of those communities.

I’m not sure if the retro video game manual scans I slap together in GIMP talentlessly for community banners is better than AI but at least I didn’t waste as much electricity making them I guess.
