These days, it seems that I am feeling love again and getting more nuanced on love. I just wondered if people here once had a life outside screen and fall in love with someone. When you met your first love for the first time in your life, how did you meet them? Were you classmates, co-workers, neighbours, or what? I was in 7th grade when I can say that I felt that for my female classmates. I could not tell them cuz they were already interested in another guy. I was a very weird person so they were more annoyed with me but never knew what I felt for them. Although they forgave me and we remained classmates and they are doing fine (one is posting about her university life on Insta, another one is anonymous), but yeah this experience just makes me realize that how much time has passed.
It doesn’t specify romantic love, so the first time I met my first love I was at a Red Robin’s and she had just turned three, I had been dating her dad about six months. She is still very much the sunshine of my life, because of her I know what love is, I know what it’s like to love someone with my whole heart, to love someone not just enough to die for them but to live for them too. She’s the first person I’ve ever truly, deeply, loved and my life is so much better with her in it. Having biological kids wasn’t in my cards because I have cystic fibrosis so having her in my life is truly wonderful, she was also the deciding factor for getting my lung transplant, I chose to gamble it all for more time with her, and it paid off in spades
I have yet to experience this level of love in my life.
