This isn’t purely hypothetical since tigers and wolves are both present in the Siberian taiga. I’d say it takes 5-6 wolves to take down a tiger with any amount of reliability but it hugely depends on the individuals. Also most fights would probably end without deaths since these animals aren’t really on each other’s menus and would probably just fight over territory or a stolen kill.
