I don’t see why they would use AI instead of picking an appropriate image or making something quick in Gimp or paint, it just makes me not want to be part of those communities.

    Turns out actual piracy “just google an image” is just as wrong as maybe-if-you-frame-it-right-piracy “have an ai do it” when the chips are on the table.

    Factually incorrect. Standard piracy uses way fewer resources and by definition doesn’t contribute to a giant financial bubble
