I replied to someone saying that the USSR defeated the Nazis saying that it was a group effort. Got into an argument and called a Nazi repeatedly because “I was mad that the USSR defeated the Nazis and hated them for it” which is ridiculous. This isn’t the first time that’s happened on Lemmy. What’s up with that?

        A non aggression pact is avoiding war, not joining a side, in the majority of cases.

        Unless the pact includes defining who they can invade without stepping each other’s toes like the USSR and Germany.

        Which countries did the other pacts agree on invading? None? Probably the reason you don’t hear about the other deals. They were obviously meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

      Yes they were but switched later on. If people want more in depth they can have a gander. There is so much stuff in it all.
