I’m a going as a social butterfly. I got a cute rainbow monarch wing cape thing at the renfair and I am going to print social media logos and tape them to a shirt. It’s cheap, cute, and funny lol.
Last Halloween I went to a karaoke night dressed as The Mask and learned the hard way that using oil-based face paints without a setting powder or spray is a bad idea because that doesn’t dry. Won’t be repeating the same mistake this year.
This year? I’m actually going to another city to celebrate my friend’s birthday, but I plan to go to a karaoke night the day before dressed as Danhausen.

Amish. I have a big beard and moustache, but I’m having nasal surgery on the 5th of November, and I have to shave the 'stache, so why not use it for Halloween?
I’ve been working on my costume for about two months now, and it’s about 2/3rds done. I haven’t quantified total expenditures yet but I’d estimate it’s over $700 in materials and supplies.

Unfortunately nothing this year! No party to go to and living in an apartment with very few kids so its not like anyone will come around. I do keep candy just in case anyone does apt trick or treating but they won’t lol.
Easily my favorite holiday tho, the vibes are immaculate and it is just so fun if you let yourself have a good time.
Growing up I was obsessed with making my own costumes, they were always low budget and terrible costumes, but it was fun!

If I leave the house, I’ve been basically dressing as a witch for years at this point. Somewhere in my closet is a witch hate and a no longer scented cinnamon broom. Think my crafted potion bottle necklace is somewhere.
All my costume requires is me to find the miscellaneous things, some dark clothes, and boots. I never plan to do anything but sometimes I get invited. And some of those times I even show up.
You’ve got the sidekicks too, right? That costume only works if you’ve got the two other people.
I absolutely do. And we plan on entering every room with a dance and a song.
Where I’m from we don’t celebrate Halloween. They (retailers) tried really hard, but it was not a thing. So now the shops are already full of X-Mas things…
But I went to a con as Logan from X-Man last week, if that counts as dress up.
